AadhaarDomain is an innovative platform that empowers Indian citizens to claim their digital identity on the decentralized Base network, while preserving their privacy through the use of Anon Aadhaar's zero-knowledge proofs. By allowing users to selectively disclose only the required identity attributes, such as age, gender, state, or pincode, through verifiable zero-knowledge proofs, AadhaarDomain addresses the growing need for secure, self-sovereign digital identities that can facilitate trustworthy online interactions and transactions, bridging the gap between the physical Aadhaar identity system and the emerging decentralized network.

While building AadhaarDomain we faced several technical and UX challenges. Ensuring a seamless user experience for verifying identity attributes posed design obstacles, as we needed to balance functionality, security, and privacy. Additionally, aligning the decentralized nature of the Base network with the centralized Aadhaar system presented unique architectural considerations.
