Wai Yee Lee

Hi! I’m a passionate tech enthusiast with a strong interest in accessibility, inclusive design, and meaningful user experiences. I enjoy solving real-world problems through software — especially when it empowers underrepresented communities.

Some of the projects I’ve worked on include:

AbleWay: A web-based accessibility reporting platform for persons with disabilities, combining interactive maps, real-time hazard alerts, and multilingual support. It follows WCAG-compliant UI/UX design.

GoSama: A mobile app that helps elderly users navigate public transport and services, designed using Figma and built with user-first accessibility in mind.

AI-Powered Highlight Tool: A real-time system for sports highlight generation using computer vision and audio analysis (OpenCV, Whisper, MoviePy). Built for rapid social media publishing during hackathons.

I’m particularly skilled in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS), back-end with PHP and MongoDB, and AI pipelines (PyTorch, OpenCV). I’m driven by impact, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Looking forward to building, learning, and hacking together!
