Vishal Vinod

I'm a self-taught deep learning practitioner with full-stack and data science experience. I build AI-based web apps with TensorFlow for deep learning and React, Flask and PostgreSQL for the web. I have worked with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) GCDS Lab for the FastAugment project based on Reinforcement Learning and Bayesian Optimization. I have also worked with the TensorFlow team for Google Summer of Code 2019 to develop deep learning architectures including Mask R-CNN, StackGANs, and XLNET for scale.

I enjoy the thrill of fast-paced problem-solving at hackathons and have won prestigious national events like the Smart India Hackathon and the NASA SpaceApps Challenge. I also won HackTitans '19 and was a finalist at many others including GitHub's MLH Hackday and Microsoft's MSHACK.
