I have an interdisciplinary background in mechanical engineering with a strong passion for AI, machine learning, and NLP. My projects span multiple domains, from robotics—where I simulated an obstacle-avoiding line follower robot in CoppeliaSim—to AI-driven applications like a multimodal AI system and a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot for customer service. I’ve worked on latent sentiment analysis to detect subtle emotions in text and explored ways to enhance explainability in deep learning-based medical diagnosis. Currently, I’m developing an AI-powered thumbnail generation system that automates text-to-visual interpretation. I’ve also tackled synthetic data generation using generative AI and worked on a hackathon PoC for B.Tech students. My passion for AI was further fueled by my SRFP 2024 experience at IIT Ropar and the AI Vicharansala workshop, where I deepened my knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, transformers, and deep learning techniques. Beyond technical work, I’m actively involved in extracurriculars as part of the IEEE club’s media team, balancing research with real-world applications.
