Vedant Oza

I am Vedant Jayesh Oza, a Sophomore at KJSIEIT Mumbai. I aspire to be a full-stack Web Developer. I find it interesting because right from my standard 12th I was very curious about how different websites works and how they are developed this made me start explore Web Development. Currently I am learning Front-end Web Development and I am well versed with HTML, CSS, BOOTSTRAP4 and Basic Javascript. I was also an open source contributor at LetsGrowMore Summer of Code this was my first ever open source program which was held from 10 June to 10 August in which I got my 8 PRs which successfully got merged, 2 of them were level 4 PR and others were level 2 and level 1. The contributions were mainly at the frontend using HTML, CSS and Basic Javascript. Some of them were non-code contributions on the markdown file. I was also ranked 74th out of 551 contributors. After That I was an open source contributor at organization called GDSC LBCE which was among the other organizations under winter of code 2.0 organized by GDSC IIIT kalyani it was a 2 month open source program. Our task was to build a community website for the new GDSC club of Dr. Lankapalli Bullaya College of Engineering. I contributed to the front-end part in react.js such as building the navbar and fixing the bugs in the banner of the website other than that I also documented the github repository of the organization. I was one of the 1200 applicants in the program and I was among the top 20 contributors who passed the mentors evaluation.
