I attended Stonehill International School's Hackathon as well as HackVCIS where we placed 1st. One of our projects was improving upon pre-existing drip irrigation systems and large plantations. It involved Machine learning to identify plant growth using OpenCV (plant height) as well as plant leaf health. We also designed a function to combine all these data points and create a function that returns a percentage value for the overall health of a plant. This is used to nourish the plant as per it's needs. Our other project involves using real-time machine learning using a Raspberry Pi and PiCamera to detect and prevent crashes. By detecting yawning, and over speeding as well as air bag deployment with help from OBD-II diagnostic port in cars and gps modules.
