Sumit Mhaske

I am currently a 3rd-year Information Technology student at VJTI Mumbai. With a passion for software engineering, I have developed skills in web development, specializing in the MERN stack, and have worked on several projects that showcase my proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies. I am excited to bring these skills to my upcoming internship at HTSI (Hilti Technology Solutions India).

My Hackathon experiences include a runner-up prize at we4tech hackathon at Welingkar institute, waitlisted spot for 2024 SIH software edition and consolation prize at Hackcelarate VJTI hackathon.

In addition to my technical abilities, I have a strong foundation in DBMS and SQL, gained through my academic projects and hands-on experience. My participation in hackathons, such as being the runner-up at the We4Tech Hackathon, has helped me hone my problem-solving and teamwork skills. As a core member of Pratibimb VJTI and the chief advisor for Swachh VJTI, I’ve also been actively involved in the sports and cultural committees, where I help foster a vibrant campus community.

My goal is to continue building my expertise in software development while contributing to impactful projects. I am driven by a desire to create solutions that make a difference, both in technology and in the communities I engage with. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports and staying active, balancing my academic and extracurricular interests.
