I’m Siddharth Nair, an undergraduate student at BITS Pilani (Electronics Engineering) with a strong interest in systems programming, high-performance computing, and quantitative problem-solving.
I enjoy building things close to the metal — from GPU-accelerated Monte Carlo simulations to order-book based market simulators — and I like understanding why systems behave the way they do, not just making them work. I’m comfortable working in C++ on Linux, debugging performance bottlenecks, and collaborating in fast-paced, time-constrained environments like hackathons.
I’m particularly excited by problems at the intersection of:
performance and correctness
math and real-world systems
low-level engineering and practical applications
Hackathons, for me, are about learning quickly, building clean foundations, and shipping something real with a team.
🛠️ Tech I’m Comfortable With
Languages: C++, Python, CUDA
Systems: Linux, Git, Make/CMake
Domains: GPU computing, simulations, finance, data analysis
