🚀 About Me

Hey there! I’m Ayush Kumar Singh, a 3rd-year Computer Science student at SSTC, who loves turning ideas into real, working projects. I enjoy building full-stack apps using Python, Django, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, and I’m especially drawn toward backend development and cloud technologies.

I’m the kind of developer who likes figuring out how things work under the hood — whether that’s deploying an app on the cloud, automating something just for fun, or experimenting with new APIs to make my projects more dynamic.

Currently, I’m exploring OCR and AI-based automation while deepening my understanding of scalable backend systems. I love hackathons because they’re the best mix of creativity, code, and chaos — perfect for learning fast and building cool stuff with great people.

When I’m not coding, I’m usually learning something new in tech, tweaking my old projects, or brainstorming weird but fun app ideas.

⚙️ What I’m Currently Exploring

  • Building cloud-ready backend systems
  • Using Google Cloud and AWS for hosting and automation
  • Improving project scalability and deployment pipelines
  • Enhancing my problem-solving and algorithmic thinking

💡 Projects

  • ⚔️ Artimes Hyperion
    Tech: Django, Python, PostgreSQL.
Artimes Hyperion is a full-stack productivity platform built with Django and backed by PostgreSQL. It bundles a Pomodoro timer, real-time note-taking, to-do lists with streak tracking, and YouTube music integration — built to help students stay focused. The repo is deployment-ready and structured for rapid iteration during hackathons.

  • 🏠 PG Finder
Tech (reference): PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (frontend).
PG Finder is a student-focused web app to discover and save paying-guest (PG) accommodations. The project uses PHP for server-side logic with a responsive HTML/CSS/JS frontend. I’m building my own enhanced version inspired by this — improving UI, search filters, and backend scalability

-** 📸 OCR Text Extractor (In Progress)**
Tech (proposed / confirm): Python, OpenCV, Tesseract, (Flask or FastAPI for web).
An OCR tool to extract typed and handwritten notes (blackboard/notes photos) into editable text. It’s currently in development — planning to add preprocessing (deskewing, denoising), Tesseract back-end, and a lightweight web UI for uploads and text output.
