Nishant Giri

Hello there,
I am Nishant Giri, senior year B-Tech undergrad at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University majoring Electronics and Communication. For the past 3 years I have been involved in learning, exploring and exploiting in the field of computer science(unofficially) as well.

I started my career exploring machine learning and a year after I switched to Web Development. I learned Web Development in "MERN stack" and did an "Apprenticeship program" to get a basic understanding of how things really work in the real world. After this I joined a Non profit based org as a junior web intern. Here I was assigned tasks for designing, building frontend and also to debug the existing code.

I have also been a "Managed Network Expert'' at Chegg where I solved doubts and helped different students to drive through the answers. The topics I resolved queries were computer fundamentals like operating system, Computer Networks, Machine Learning and Web Development.

The recent experience I had was with a startup as an IT consultant. This was a non tech role and I handled the company's social media handles like twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Youtube. I was also involved in digital marketing support for the company. Though this did not have any relevance in my tech journey but this gave me a ground level idea of what a startup really expects out of you. I did a lot of things that were not part of my job and which eventually helped me grow personally.

Explaining everything above in a nutshell :

• I am a full stack web developer (MERN).

• I have experience using Figma and Canva for designing purposes.

• I have a theoretical understanding of Machine learning Algorithms.

• Also lastly, I am familiar and had built projects using DevOps tools like docker and Kubernetes.
