Hello! I am Pranjali Jadhav , a student of Computer Engineering in K.J Somaiya College of Engineering. I started developing interest to explore more in the field of Computer Science when I pursued this subject in High School (Junior College) as a vocational course for 2 years(2015-17), I learned Visual Basic, C++ language, Basic HTML and 8085 Assembly language. So at that time itself I had decided to pursue Computer Engineering professionally.
Right from the beginning, I was fascinated by the power of programming, and so I decided to build on my programming knowledge and algorithm designing skills. So I utilized 1-month break after the semester exams to learn C programming through an online course.Later I was introduced to Java which formed the part of my syllabus. After some exploration I came to know that a 70-80 line java code snippet can be fitted in about 10 lines if we use Python. So I started learning Python through an online course on Udemy, the work is still in progress on that, I am exploring the world of python programming.
I am currently working on various projects which are in various levels of development which include creating a website which empowers and encourages women by narrating real life inspiring and life saving incidents. It emphasizes on various campaigns and events in connection with the issues faced and accomplishments made by women. It attempts to create awareness amongst women about their legal rights.
Currently I am also doing an internship at the Software Development Cell of our college wherein we have to create a location based blood-helpline web application which is going to be used by a non-profitable organization. The central aim of this project is to provide blood to the patients based on location and urgency.
I audited a course on Open Source Technology for Database in college.
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis, always up for opportunities to explore these big names of Computer Technology.
Hackathons to me are an amazing platform to see ideas growing into products, the kind of seasoning we get there won't be possible otherwise.
Apart from Hackathons I’ve also participated in Ideathons, I along with my team reached the National Level Final Round(Top 10) in “Smart City Ideathon” in March 2019.
Apart from programming, there is one thing that I have interest in, which is dancing .I have completed 8 years of training in Bharatnatyam, to keep my hobby alive I joined the cultural dance team of the college 'Palinoia' last year. Our team performs at various events oraganized by the Student Council like the cultural fest of college 'Symphony' , Women's day celebration , the Fresher's Eve and many such events.
I keep my fingers crossed, if given a chance to be a part of this Hackathon. I'll utilize the opportunity to explore new avenues in computer technology. Winning is secondary, learning is primary.
