Hello, I'm Parth Vats, a driven and enthusiastic first-year B.Tech student at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) in Delhi. I'm deeply passionate about Computer Science and the ever-evolving field of Artificial Intelligence. What particularly draws me to these areas is my fascination with anything that involves logical thinking, and I have a strong inclination towards learning and applying mathematics and algorithms to solve complex problems. I believe technology, especially when guided by sound logic and efficient algorithms, holds the key to many real-world challenges.
Even in my first year, I've been eager to translate this passion into practical application. For instance, with NSUTrack, which I co-founded, the vision was born out of a desire to simplify student life through a logical, streamlined approach. We identified a common challenge among students in accessing university information efficiently. So, we engineered a backend system, initially conceived at a hackathon, to provide a clear solution. It's incredibly rewarding to see it now helping over 500 students at NSUT by making crucial information readily available, and it's even on the App Store! This project was a great opportunity to apply problem-solving skills to a real-world scenario.
Similarly, my work on HimYatra stemmed from a desire to enhance the travel experience. The idea was to create a comprehensive mobile guide for tourists visiting Himachal Pradesh, making it easier for them to discover attractions, plan their itineraries, and generally have a more organized and enjoyable trip. We focused on user engagement and simplifying travel planning through intuitive design, and I was thrilled when our vision was recognized as a winning entry at the Hack on Hills 6.0 hackathon.
These projects have really solidified my interest in building user-centric applications that make a tangible difference. I'm excited to continue learning, especially in AI, and contribute to innovative solutions where I can apply my passion for logical reasoning and algorithmic problem-solving in the future.
