Hey, I’m Akash — a second-year CSE student at GGSIPU. I’ve spent the past year building projects with friends, contributing to college tech clubs, and learning to move from “concept” to “prototype” fast.

I’m part of:

• Software Development Cell (Web Team) – building and maintaining projects for our campus.
• ACM GGSIPU(Ops + Tech Teams) – organizing events, taking interviews of possible recruits, etc. Currently the event co-lead for our college's CTF competition.

What excites me about hackathons is the chance to collaborate under pressure and solving problems that are more than just assignments. I like working on backend logic, but more than that, I simply like creating anything which I find fun or something which solves a problem for me. For example? I created a script and hosted it on Lambda to run every set interval. What the script does is, it hits Amul's undocumented API to get info about products which are frequently out of stock and sends me a notification when it is back in stock. Also been a top 10 finalist at the National Space Hackathon 2025 held by IITD, I learnt the most in that hackathon, because I didn't win, but also didn't lose.

Outside of coding, I’ve played chess at the state level and football casually. I also like to lift.
