SeeEng Chin

I’m See Eng Chin, a Year 3 Semester 1 Bachelor of Computer Science student at Monash University Malaysia, specialising in Advanced Computer Science.

I am interested in software development, mobile app development, game development, and using technology to solve real-world problems. I have experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, R, SQL, Godot, and UI development.

One of my main projects is "TrainLah!", a mobile application designed to improve the experience of travelling by train in Malaysia. The app has been deployed on the Android Google Play Store and includes features related to train schedules, live data, journey planning, and estimated arrival information. I am also developing a "Catan-style digital board game" using Godot, where I work on gameplay systems, turn logic, resource management, UI, and debugging. The game is still under development and has not yet been deployed online.

I enjoy learning unfamiliar technologies quickly and turning ideas into functional prototypes. I want to join the MUBA Blockchain Hackathon to understand how blockchain can be applied to real-world problems, build a working prototype, gain more teamwork and hackathon experience, and challenge myself beyond university coursework.
