👋 Hi! I’m Lu, an indigenous woman from the Andes in Bolivia, a software engineer, and a filmmaker passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems.

🌱 What drives me:

• Turning challenges into opportunities — Bolivia’s hyperinflation and banking restrictions pushed me to find creative ways to make tech accessible.
• Empowering women in my community by teaching them about crypto and digital finance.
• Building projects that connect tradition with innovation.

• Frontend engineering (JavaScript, NextJS, ReactJS, ReactNative, CSS, Playwright, Jest)
• Smart contract development (Solidity)
• Backend engineering (NodeJS, Python, Postgres)
• Storytelling — through film, writing, and now through code.

🚀 Interesting projects:

• Pasacoin – A mobile app that digitizes a community circular savings tradition shared across Latin America.

  • 🏆 Won 3rd place + a bounty at a Monad and Mobil3 hackathon in Mexico.
  • Built with an international team from Colombia, Costa Rica, and Bolivia.

• Crypto Education Program: QullqiCripto – Co-created with my mom to teach non-technical women with informal jobs how to safely use crypto for savings and payments.

🌐 What’s next:
I want to go deeper into Ethereum, rollups, and ZK technologies, and learn how to build tools that can scale access to financial freedom — especially for communities like mine.
