Lavanya Bitaan

I am passionate about backend development. I have a strong foundation in Python and Java, along with practical experience in SQL, HTML, and CSS.

I have always been interested about how the internet works. This eventually drove me to learn how websites communicate with servers and how data is processed behind the scenes.

One of my projects include a Restaurant Management System, where I designed backend logic, managed databases, and structured application workflows. This project helped me improve my problem-solving skills and deepen my understanding of backend development.

Besides my technical skills, I value communication and teamwork. I believe these skills are vital in collaborative settings like hackathons. I was the 1st Runner-Up in a college-level Group Discussion competition, chosen from a group of 800 students. I also secured 2nd place in a Storytelling Competition on Independence Day. These experiences boosted my confidence in sharing ideas, public speaking, and participating in team discussions.

I also qualified for the internal round of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024. This experience exposed me to problem statements and team-based solution building, driven by innovation.
