Eliminating the need for centralised management in traditional ChitFunds using Smart Contracts

Our solution (ChETHFunds) transforms the traditional ChitFund model by utilizing the decentralized nature of blockchain to remove the need for a central fund manager. In conventional systems, the manager is responsible for overseeing the fund, which creates a single point of failure as users must trust this individual with their money. ChETHFunds replaces this human role with a smart contract that is publicly auditable. This guarantees complete transparency and ensures that the fund operates in a fully deterministic and secure manner. Since the process is entirely digital, users can participate from anywhere, eliminating the need for physical presence and potential discrimination This makes ChETHFunds a perfect investment choice for college students, middle-income groups, and businessmen seeking a modern, high-liquidity, flexible, community-based, and convenient way to save regularly while having the ability to access a lump sum when urgently needed. This project also makes ChitFunds more popular among the populace. There are a large number of informal chitfunds operational in every state of india. Our project aims to formalize and standardize it eventually making it safe and accessible to everyone
