I am currently pursuing a Computer Science degree and would like to expand my horizons on the practical application of the knowledge I've garnered through online learning portals and university. I am very interested in software development and Machine Learning and have recently successfully completed multiple projects. I would say I am reasonably adept having spent hours on platforms like Hackerrank, Codechef, LeetCode and Coursera. I would like to gain a depth expertise in the field by working alongside like-minded individuals. If given the opportunity, I will use my drive to learn to the fullest and apply the knowledge I gain, practically. I also bring to the table a vast set of soft skills that prove to beneficial in most areas of a workplace.

As for my projects:

Performance Metrics for Cardiovascular Disease Prediction:
Used various Machine Learning approaches to accurately predict
the existence of a cardiovascular diseaase by testing data
against a trained sample utilizing 14 unique parameters.''

Virtual Healthcare Assistant:
Created an interactive platform that provides a medium of
communication between a concerned user/patient and an AI that
delivers accurate predictions for prognosis while taking into
consideration the patients’ symptoms and various important
details. ML approaches are then applied to devise a diagnosis.

Extractive Text Summarization on Patient Notes:
Developed a model that creates summarised extracts from given
detailed accounts of patient notes and symptoms (using Sumy,
spaCy, LexRank, BERT and GPT-2) for a medical professional to
read. Employs lemmatization to derive accurate root words for
keywords within the extract.
