Kavin Shah

Hello, my name is Kavin Shah, and I am a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School in the Bay Area. I have a passion for finance and investing as I have my own investing portfolio where I trade a variety of assets ranging from cryptocurrency to stocks to options. I love studying finance and economics as well as their applications to the real world as I want to use my knowledge to help more people become financially literate. I am a part of many finance and business organizations as I help to spread financial literacy among a lot of people. I also enjoy studying micro and macro economics in my free time as I find it really interesting to see how firms make rational decisions as their impact on the world overall. I also have taken some computer science courses as I know Python and Java. I have completed a couple big projects including a database that stores information and a complex vending machine simulation. I look forward to this hackathon as I can't wait to see and discover the connections between computer science and economics.
