grew up watching local governance get absorbed into Brussels to be run by MEPs - plastic wax stable machines who vote 90%+ in line with transnational party groups. whoever pays for dinner sets the agenda. that dinner is now paid by surveillance interests.

this has led me to run my own ISP, be early contributor to GrapeheneOS and penumbra projects.
