- What are you good at ?
Well, I'm Creative and always intend to solve complex problems through Unique and simple code so that everyone can understand. I've ability to maintain the balance between creativity and efficiency and to share knowledge and help teammates.
- What drives me ?
Finding a way to solve a problem, or overcome a challenge, coming up with creative ideas to improve something, or make something new really drives me.
- What's the most complex project you have worked on ?
My recent project was a wearable device that helps the visually challenged people locate and grab day to day objects with ease in a cost-effective manner. In doing so, we had solved many problems faced by them on a daily basis. Our wearable technology serves as an aid to their disability. Our technology uses a real-time haptic feedback based algorithm that facilitates the easy interface between the visually impaired and their surroundings. It consists of an interactive wearable band that the user wears on their wrist providing haptic feedback to the user to help them locate and reach day to day objects like doorknobs, mugs, water bottles, etc. To provide accurate information about the position of the object with respect to the person, we use two methods. The initial guidance is provided by a computer vision-based system that gives audio directions towards the object using Computer Vision. Once the user is near the object, Precision Guidance is provided by the wearable band through a haptic feedback system and Laser Line of Sight (LOS) Guidance.
- What did you learn ?
I think for each project you begin, you are essentially developing a mini organization. I learned how to create vision to solve the problem within scope, time and cost. To achieve that goal, you need to build the organization structure, hire skilled people and communicate the path forward. All of my teammates have different skill sets so, you need to pull them together to understand their roles and build the culture to provide the accountability and relationships to function as a high performing team.
- Why Should you accept me ?
Well, I think I have all of the skills and experience that you’re looking for and I’m confident that I would be a superstar in this Hackathon. I'm passionate towards solving complex real life problems and atlast I Love to Code.
