Richard Nutsugah

I’m a self-taught software developer and computer science student at the University of Ghana with a deep passion for innovation at the intersection of AI and Web3.

What drives me most is the challenge of turning complex ideas into meaningful, accessible tools that solve real-world problems. I’ve participated in and won multiple hackathons, including ETHAccra, ETHSafari, and GAIAthon, where my team and I built impactful projects such as Enroute(automate recurring payments on-chain using ENS) , LearnWeb3JS, and a Gunshot Detection System for Wildlife Conservation.

Beyond hackathons, my curiosity for optimization and intelligent systems led me to work on my final-year project, where I compressed a GAIT model using state-of-the-art model compression techniques to improve performance without sacrificing accuracy. I enjoy exploring how AI and decentralized technologies can complement each other to create transparent, privacy-preserving, and scalable systems.

Above all, I’m driven by curiosity, purpose, and a desire to push the boundaries of what technology can do for people.

P.S. I won 4 bounty tracks with this project with my teammate at EthAccra 2025 from ENS Labs, Base, Buidl Guidl and Ethereum on-chain Finance.
