Christopher Ries

Hello my name is Christopher Ries and I'm a graduate from UC Irvine classically trained in malware analysis and operating systems. I first got into crypto early on doing forensics for the infamous Sony breach in 2014. The Lazarus Group, who was responsible for that attack deployed a wiper variants and incorporated Bitcoin for a ransom payment. Fast forward to 2019, I was working on distributed systems problems whilst at Oracle building security products for their cloud infrastructure offering. I got a great appreciation for the types of problems that decentralized blockchain networks like Ethereum were solving. I left Oracle in 2021 and started building a platform that helps developers in the space deploy common solutions across multiple blockchains since the interoperability problem had in my experience created a fragmented user and developer experience. Today, I'm working on the same problem having learned a lot in the past 2-3 years about different types of blockchains (Solidity, Rust, Move, etc.).
