Shashank Srivastava

I am a data scientist who has worked for 3 years in Logistics and have been tasked with developing innovative algorithms to discover and solve optimisation problems. I am currently on a break from job and looking for challenging problems in the Indian infrastructure space. Over the past few years I’ve developed problem solving skills using numerical, discrete optimisation and delivering microservices that handle hard problems. As a knowledge worker most of my time has been spent on talking to clients and client facing teams to transform “the feeling of a problem” to a mathematical form and then working with Engineering and Product team to develop a product around the problem.

I feel motivated by solutions that last the test of time and actually address the problem. Agility and generality of the approach is what I gravitate towards however I cannot claim to always have done that.
