Deepak Pathania

I am a full-stack web developer who loves everything javascript. Currently, I am working as a Senior Software Engineer at Gojek, where I work on complex problems at scale, which drives me to continuously improve my skills.

I am a seasoned hacker, have won more than 10 hackathons, mentored at a few and even organized some. I love the adrenaline rush that comes along with hackathons and therefore try to attend as many as I can, either as a participant or as a mentor.

I have worked on quite a few interesting projects, both at my job and hackathons, one of which included building a non-deterministic finite state machine purely in javascript to map different user actions to flows which can be persisted and traversed, which allowed for logical branching flows. Throughout the project, learned a lot about implementing theoretical CS concepts and how those map to databases for persistence.

I also like to speak at conferences, meetups, and hackathons to share my learnings with the community.
