Debasish Behera

Hello there! I'm Debasish Behera, a first-year undergraduate student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering at SRM University. My academic interests span the fascinating realms of mathematics and computer science, with a recent emphasis on the captivating field of blockchain technology, driven by a profound curiosity about artificial intelligence and machine learning (AIML). My overarching ambition is to make a meaningful impact in the realm of blockchain and leverage the potential use of AI in space exploration. I aspire to play a significant role in shaping the dynamic landscape of technological progress.

When it comes to tech, I love pushing boundaries. Recently at the DTU Web3.0 Hackathon organised by RiseIn, me and my team secured the 3rd position. I have also worked on a Decentralised Voting Application for my university. Delving into machine learning, I built models with impressive accuracies, including digit recognition from the MNIST dataset using Random Forest Classifier and also built Iris flower classification with 96.36% and 98.33% accuracies respectively. My tech journey also includes creating the voice of Jonathan, a desktop app AI for home automation, and interning with MyCaptain, Trinity College Dublin, and the Illinois Institute of Technology.

I've been featured in the national news for Fizby app, and my tech stack includes Java, Python, React, and proficiency in Android, iOS, IoT, Firebase, Git, MySQL, Blockchain, Smart Contract, and more. From hackathons to internships, my journey reflects a dedication to technology and its power to shape a better future. Let's code the change we want to see!
