Daphne Chu

I am currently studying software engineering. I dream to be an engineer that could solve real world problems through the power of technologies, and I am now participating hackathons to gain more experience to achieve that dream.

Over the past year, I have built a strong technical foundation through both coursework and hands-on projects. I have learnt Arduino Programming and built a traffic light system for overheight vehicles. Moreover, I have built a restaurant simulation program with customer feedback handling using core OOP concepts. I have also created a nutrition application using Android Studio with the integration of API and AI. Through competitions, I have experienced using Figma to design a concept or application.

I have heard about blockchain long ago, but never really build something related to the field. I am very excited and look forward to explore how blockchain can make a meaningful impact.
