This is a shorter version of my Haiku fork which only contains the files that I have edited throughout my time at Haiku. It is also the link that I will be submitting to GSoC :)

As a C++ developer and executive member at IEEE Computer Society, NITK, I have had the opportunity to both learn and contribute to impactful projects within the society. During my initial time as a student member, I joined the Envision project, a collaborative effort led by senior members to develop a steganography tool. My role involved implementing the AES decryption algorithm, working closely with teammates who implemented AES encryption and compression features. This experience allowed me to deepen my knowledge of cryptographic principles and reinforced the importance of teamwork and problem-solving in a technical setting.
Currently, as an executive member, I am leading a new project to develop an NES emulator. This role allows me to delve into core areas of computer architecture, including computer graphics, memory allocation, and management. Through this project, I am excited to expand my expertise in low-level programming and enhance my understanding of complex systems. My time at IEEE Computer Society has been invaluable, offering me both hands-on technical experience and a strong foundation in collaborative development.

Delving into a big codebase can be like entering a giant puzzle. Sometimes, as a newbie developer, it’s hard to figure out what each piece of code does and how it works. But that’s what GSoC is all about — learning to navigate through this puzzle and using it to make things even better. That’s exactly what I’ve been up to this past week, and I’ve even come up with a plan to do it even better in the future. Stick around to find out how I’m cracking the code and making progress! This article will be slight...

GSoC’24 @ Haiku The coding phase for Google Summer of Code officially kicked off last week, and what a week it has been! It’s been a fun journey filled with learning and writing new code. Despite facing quite a few challenges with compiling code during the first couple of days, I finally got my project off the ground. The experience has been incredibly rewarding, as I continue to learn and implement new concepts in this amazing program. An Introduction to Myself Hi! For those of you who don’t know me yet...
