Kartik Bhatia

I'm a 4th year Computer Science student at BITS Pilani Goa . It'd be fair to say that I've been fascinated by the world of computers and technology for about 21 years.

My projects in the area of computer vision of building an autonomous drone, to an internship at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, reflect my passion for machine learning, and developing solutions to everyday problems in general.

Interning at Microsoft this summer also made me realize how code is developed at large corporations and that the quality of code and the idea matters way more than anything else. I learned deploying applications using Docker containers on Kubernetes and I'm gonna use the flexibility it provides for all my future projects. I'm also a competitive programmer, an avid reader, and a guitar player.

Honestly, I feel guilty for being late into the Hackathon scene, however, attending the hackathon (Hack by the Beach) at our campus BITS Goa during our technical fest Quark made me realize how fun and innovative it is. Learned much more from other participants than I've from the multitude of online courses. Hence I would love to be part of InOut 7.0 and really excited to built cool things with even cooler people.
