Hi π, I'm Avanish!
Organizer @ GDG on Campus APSIT | Cloud Explorer | Web & AI Enthusiast π
π‘ About Me
- Currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science at APSIT, Thane.
- Organizer at GDG on Campus APSIT, leading developer-focused events, workshops, and community initiatives.
- Exploring Cloud, GenAI, and Web Development to build practical, impactful solutions.
- Passionate about bringing students together through hackathons & study jams.
π Why Iβm Excited Right Now
I believe hackathons are more than coding competitions β they are launchpads for ideas, connections, and real innovation.
As the new GDG Organizer, I want to scale our community by bringing students closer to the developer ecosystem with hands-on hackathons, speaker sessions, and collaborations.
We already have an upcoming Hackathon on 3rd October π and my dream is to expand the prize pool, enhance mentorship, and give students even better exposure.
π How Devfolio Student Hackathon Grant Fits In
With the Devfolio Student Hackathon Grant, we can:
- Increase the prize pool & incentives for student participants.
- Bring in mentors & industry experts to guide teams.
- Provide better resources & workshops before the hackathon.
- Create a bigger impact on our college community by empowering 100s of students to innovate.
This grant wonβt just support a single event β it will strengthen a culture of hackathons at APSIT.
