I am an undergrad at IIT Dhanbad pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
I'm a Deep Learning enthusiast who is really passionate about data and obtaining insights from it.
The project closest to my heart involves using metadata to rank photos based on their visual appeal. The data-set involved photos of rescued animals waiting to get adopted.Visual appeal of photos was calculated using the time it took for them to get adopted. After some data visualization and data cleaning, I fine-tuned different CNNs to generate visual representation of the images. Using the representations, I constructed a XGBoost Model to generate the visual appeal of the photos. After using different techniques like stacking, K Fold, etc. I was able to get over 85% accuracy.
I'm a great believer that practical knowledge contributes to actual learning experience. This belief makes me take part in numerous hackathons.
I am sure that this hackathon will be the right platform to showcase my talent and skills as well as be a great learning experience to improve myself as a developer.
