👋 Hi, I’m Arunima Dutta!

I’m a Computer Science undergraduate at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, passionate about building things at the intersection of technology, AI, and design.

Over the past few years, I’ve participated in multiple hackathons, winning 7+ of them and reaching the Top 5 at Smart India Hackathon 2024. Hackathons have been one of the biggest parts of my journey—they’ve taught me how to take an idea from a problem statement to a working product, often under impossible deadlines. 🚀

Currently, I’m working as a Frontend Engineer at SystemStar, where I handle the frontend of a React-based real-estate platform. My work involves building immersive property experiences using 3D models, .glb assets, GSAP animations, and interactive web interfaces.

Previously, I worked as a Research Intern at India Internet Foundation, where I worked with Django-based production platforms, backend workflows, API documentation, and research around Internet Measurement & Networking systems.

I’ve also built and experimented with several products, including:

• 🌱 AgroDx — an AI-powered plant disease detection platform combining image-based analysis with LLM-powered diagnosis.
• 🤝 CrewBook — an AI-assisted platform designed to help teams collaborate and manage projects.
• 🌍 ClimaVisor — an interactive 3D climate visualization experience.
• 🔐 V-Cred — a decentralized credential verification system built around trustworthy digital credentials.

Beyond technology, I’m also one of the founders of BlueOrbit Academy, a startup focused on introducing students from Classes 9–12 to STEM through hands-on learning in Robotics, IoT, IIoT, and related technologies.

I also serve as the Design Lead at GDG on Campus, HITK, where I get to combine my love for technology with design, visual storytelling, and community building.

I love building, breaking, experimenting, and learning — especially when there’s a real problem worth solving. 💡
