Andrea Jurado

Hi, I'm Andrea Jurado, an engineer passionate about entrepreneurship. Throughout my life, I've worked on various projects and participated in several programs. I studied Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, but after a program in Silicon Valley, I decided to pivot my career towards software. Currently, I am the co-founder of a software factory based in Ecuador. However, this is not a conventional software factory, as we have implemented an educational project where anyone interested in entering the tech world can join our learning program, then become part of an internship, and eventually work on real projects with our clients.
As an IEEE volunteer, I have been able to broaden my horizons by participating in humanitarian events, hackathons, and speaking at events for the Women in Engineering affinity group.
Recently, I was part of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, where I had the opportunity to meet other high-impact entrepreneurs.
