I'm a third year Computer Engineering student at the University of Alberta. I started coding in grade 11, but over the last two years I've taken a fair number of electrical and programming courses and I'm now looking to apply everything I've learnt in an environment where I can learn more. For the past few months I've been trying to independently learn web development. My plan is to gain some experience as a full stack developer and then transition into a cybersecurity role where I can hopefully be a web-app pen tester. I've completed 90% of the front-end learning and I've made a few web-apps mostly using React utilizing some fresh ES6 syntax along with libraries like d3. Working with CSS has made me pretty resilient. So if I can't solve a problem I likely won't be able to sleep that night. But outside of programming I enjoy cycling, playing League of Legends and occasionally poker (using fake money of course).
