Tayrona Sentinel

Tayrona Sentinel is an open-source Nature Intelligence pilot for monitoring Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona as a verifiable territorial asset.

What we built

  • Register an official GeoJSON territory as an asset.
  • Compare Copernicus Sentinel-2 observations for the same boundary.
  • Generate typed alerts: vegetation loss, NDVI drop, water change, fire signal, and human activity.
  • Send the alert and an evidence manifest digest to Áureo.
  • Anchor the asset reference, alert type, severity, and evidence digest on an EVM network.

The polygon, satellite imagery, metrics, and full evidence remain off-chain. Blockchain is used for provenance and integrity, not as a substitute for satellite analysis or field validation.

Architecture

Copernicus observation → Nature Intelligence comparison → typed alert → evidence manifest → Áureo bridge → EVM transaction.

The integration is implemented in the Áureo and Symmetry repositories. The current status is a working local MVP; testnet deployment and the public demo transaction are the next release step.

Roadmap

  1. Deploy ÁureoCore to HSK Chain testnet.
  2. Register the Tayrona asset and run one real observation-to-alert demo.
  3. Publish the evidence manifest and Blockscout transaction link.
  4. Add field validation and historical alert review for a controlled park pilot.
