Ahana Vishwakarma

I'm Ahana, a Computer Science engineering student, who'll soon be a sophomore at IGDTUW, Delhi. I'm an ambitious girl who doesn't just think about the goals but works hard enough to accomplish them. I have always been a disciplined student and have always believed that whenever you take up a task, complete it with full justice. May it be academics, sports, or extracurricular activities I have always given my best. What led me into this world of technology is a book. I read a book called "Reignited" by sir APJ Abdul kalam back in my 10th grade and it interested me in this field to an extent that I decided to do engineering. The thing that excited me the most was the Robotics section and that's what I dream to work on in my future. I have a strong academic record, have displayed a history of achievement, and am always inquisitive to learn new stuff. I am a smart worker and a determined team player. I exhibit an interest in learning, researching, and creating new technologies with commercial influence. Not only do I think outside the box but also I am a quick learner and highly trainable. I have good dynamic leadership skills and experience.

One of the project is a sports competition management, wherein we'll need to input the scores of each team and players in every round even if it was a tie and we'll know by the end which player did the best and which team won, etc. The other project is an app prototype where students who haven't been to college or school for a long time could make friends and could relax. It has categories like Cultural, hang out, and study, etc, and then there are subcategories. You can choose any one of them and you'll be added to a group where you can chat with like-minded people on the topic of your interest and make bonds.

I'm skilled in more than one major programming language (Python, C, C++) and problem-solving. I frequently participate in Hackathons and Coding Competitions to sharpen my skills. I've scored 5stars and 2stars on HackerRank and CodeChef respectively. I'm rated 1446 highest at CodeChef and have solved more than 100 problem questions. I'm a recipient of the AWS Machine Learning scholarship program of Udacity and have also secured a place in LetsGrowMore Women Empowerment Program(LGM-WEP). I'm also selected as a fellow at Script Foundation. I am a notable member of many communities which strive to empower women in technology such as Women Who Code(WWCode), Women in Machine Learning and Data Science(WiMLDS), Women in Machine Learning(WiML).
