Vedant Dubey

I am Vedant Dubey, a B.Tech student in Electronics and Communications Engineering at NIT Raipur (Batch of 2027) with a passion for building intelligent, user-centric software. My interests span AI/ML, full-stack web development, scalable systems, and open-source contributions.

Currently, I am working part-time with the OpenFOAM Team at FOSSEE, IIT Bombay, focusing on GUI integration, workflow optimization, and AI-assisted CFD tools. Earlier, during my FOSSEE Summer Internship, I integrated OpenFOAM-based CFD workflows with Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning HuggingFace Transformers to translate complex simulation data into user-friendly interfaces.

I actively participate in hackathons and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Some of my key projects include:
• CookGPT – Winner of Hack-o-Harbour 2025, a multimodal RAG chatbot using LangChain, Pinecone, and Gemini API.
• VRWell – Runner-up at Codeutsav 8.0, a VR wellness companion leveraging Unreal Engine and Firebase for immersive health tracking.
• DevFlow – a personal full-stack Stack Overflow clone with real-time AI-assisted features, built with Next.js, MongoDB, and TailwindCSS.

I was also a Winner of the American Allegiance of Education Hackathon and participated in the IIT Bhubaneswar Hackathon, gaining valuable exposure to large-scale problem solving and cross-disciplinary teamwork. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, innovate across technologies, and deliver impactful solutions.

I’m always eager to learn, experiment, and create—whether it’s exploring cutting-edge AI, refining developer tools, or contributing to open-source communities.
