Utkarsh Shukla

Recently graduated, I am presently an Associate Data Scientist at ATLAN. My main objective is to gain awareness of every new thing that's happening in my field of interest. Most of my work is focused on Machine Learning and automation, especially using the power of ML in medical sciences. My contribution ranges from predicting neurological diseases to providing insights from medical data to understand the working on the human biological system. I believe the benefits of amalgamation of ML and medical data is a huge breakthrough and I try to focus in that direction.

I have a high level of interest in data science and machine learning. I’ve been studying this particular field for about 2 years now, and have a clear understanding of the fundamental concepts. I have been part of three research projects focused on estimating neural cognition, emotional empathy and using Brain Waves for predicting the onset of Epileptic Seizures. I have rich experience with core data science as well. My work at ATLAN in Data Science testifies my knowledge where I am responsible for developing models for Demographic-based Population and Economical estimation using Digital Elevation Models and government data for extracting Geodynamic features, Terrain Mapping, and Human settlement assessment. For all of the endeavors, I have used Python extensively with frameworks like TensorFlow and high-level frameworks like Keras. I’m well versed with tools like pandas and sci-kit-learn, and for numerical computing, I’m very fluent with the Numpy stack. In my early years of development, I have worked as a full-stack developer confident in PHP, AngularJS and using Flask web frameworks with python tools like SQLAlchemy for databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite). I have created, managed and deployed websites using C-Panel, Amazon and Digital Ocean.
