I've enjoyed using computer science in combination with math and physics to build games, utility programs, websites & simulations.
My primary language remains Python, though I've also programmed applications of varying difficulty in C++, C# (Unity), Lua, Java, Javascript, PHP and HTML.
Amongst my favourites are a Minecraft like procedural blocky terrain generator in unity, a completely self-made 3D renderer in C++ & another in python (no OpenGL etc. used), and a python tool that via string processing & paramiko (ssh library) lets me connect to the school webserver hosting my magazine & update it with new content (a very basic CMS - content management system).
For me, programming is about the ability to build practical applications that can gain great exposure due to the simple nature of sharing open-source code online, and the ability to understand principles in maths & physics defining our universe on a more direct & fundamental level.
