I’m Tanvi Poddar, a B.Tech Information Technology student at NIT Karnataka, where I’ve achieved a strong academic record with a 9.56 CGPA. My technical interests span machine learning, web development, and competitive programming, and I’m thrilled to join Google as a software engineering intern in Summer 2025.

I’m an active contributor to the tech community, having participated in initiatives like GirlScript Summer of Code 2024, where I implemented new features and resolved numerous bugs. Notably, I’m among the 14 recipients in India of the Intel Andy Grove Scholarship and reached top rankings (pre-finale) in events like Myntra HackerRamp: WeForShe 2024.

I have a solid foundation in programming languages like C++, Python, and JavaScript and hands-on experience in ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow and Keras. My development expertise includes full-stack projects with React, HTML/CSS, and Firebase. My competitive programming skills are demonstrated through strong ratings on CodeChef and Codeforces and solving 350+ problems on LeetCode.

Notable Projects:

DeepFake Voice Detection System: Designed a high-accuracy (93%) AI system for detecting fake voices using a CRNN Spoof model trained on 25,000+ audio samples. Experimented with various ML/DL methods, including CNNs and LSTMs.

Current Projects:
Automated Book-Based Q&A System: This system enables users to upload books and ask questions, receiving accurate, contextually relevant responses. Using RAG, the system integrates NLP, semantic search, and generative AI to deliver detailed answers.
Kubernetes Cluster on Upcycled Laptops: Under Soumya Kamath ma'am's guidance (IT dept NITK) guidance, I’m developing a high-performance computing cluster by repurposing old laptops into Kubernetes nodes, leveraging Linux and open-source tools for a cost-effective solution.
