Tanmay Goyal

I am a Computer Science undergraduate at Delhi Technological University (DTU) with a strong interest in building technology-driven solutions that create meaningful real-world impact. From an early stage, I have been deeply involved in innovation, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning, which has shaped both my technical approach and long-term goals in engineering.

My core technical interests lie in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, and autonomous systems. Over the years, I have worked on several AI-driven projects, including an award-recognized smart healthcare solution developed to address the lack of primary medical facilities, as well as predictive and analytical models in finance and portfolio optimization. These projects have received recognition at national platforms such as Smart India Hackathon, ATL Marathon, and Young Scientist India, reinforcing my belief in applying technology to solve large-scale societal problems.

I have also gained early exposure to global research and analytical thinking through my role as a Research Analyst and Innovation Head in the Wharton Global Youth Program. During this experience, I worked on portfolio optimization and investment strategy design, combining fundamental and technical analysis with algorithmic tools to develop data-driven solutions aligned with client risk and ESG considerations. This opportunity helped me strengthen my quantitative reasoning, structured problem-solving, and research-oriented mindset.

Beyond technical development, I have actively engaged with the startup and innovation ecosystem. As a long-term member of the ATL and NITI Aayog Innovation network, I have presented and pitched startup ideas at national-level forums, gaining practical experience in problem validation, project finance, and solution presentation. This exposure has given me a holistic understanding of how technology, business strategy, and societal needs intersect.

Alongside my technical pursuits, I bring a strong creative dimension through music. I am a trained pianist, certified classical musician, and music producer with experience releasing work on global platforms. I believe creativity plays a crucial role in innovation, and my musical background has enhanced my ability to think structurally, recognize patterns, and approach problems from unconventional perspectives.

In addition, I have taken on leadership and responsibility roles across technical teams, academic institutions, and cultural organizations, which have strengthened my communication skills, teamwork, and ability to perform effectively under pressure. Overall, I see myself as an interdisciplinary learner who combines analytical rigor, creativity, and execution, and I am eager to contribute to environments that encourage innovation, collaboration, and technology-driven impact.
