Red Arrow Detection and Angle Estimation
Developed a real-time system using OpenCV to detect red arrows in images and videos. The system not only identifies the arrows but also determines their inclination angles, enabling precise directional guidance in applications like autonomous navigation and traffic systems. -
SUAS 2024 Problem Statement Solution
Designed a robust drone-based solution for autonomous surveillance and mapping. Leveraged advanced technologies such as Mission Planner for pre-planned missions, object depth estimation, deep learning models for top-view detection, and CAD file generation to address unauthorized construction and ensure compliance with set regulations. -
Robotic Arm(using voice commands)
Built a versatile robotic arm capable of performing complex tasks such as object manipulation, sorting, and assembly. The arm is controlled via custom algorithms for precision and efficiency. -
Robotic Arm Integrated with Drone
Enhanced the functionality of drones by integrating a robotic arm capable of real-time object handling and manipulation during flight. This system opens up possibilities in search-and-rescue missions, package delivery, and industrial automation. -
Human Face Detection
Implemented a face detection system using deep learning and OpenCV, optimized for real-time performance. This project laid the foundation for applications such as surveillance, attendance systems, and human-computer interaction. -
Detection of Unauthorized Construction
Trained a deep learning model on a dataset of over 100,000 top-view images of houses to detect unauthorized constructions. Post-training, utilized OpenCV algorithms for binary image analysis and HuMoments comparison to ensure accuracy. The project automates compliance checks, reducing human effort in urban planning and management. -
Hand Gesture-Controlled Mouse
Developed an innovative mouse system that uses hand gestures for control. Leveraged a smartphone camera for gesture recognition to enable zoom in/out and navigation, making it an intuitive and futuristic input device for enhanced user interaction.
