London, United Kingdom
Bonjour, I’m Adam part of the Whirl Protocol team, building at the edges of DeFi, storytelling, and community tech on Base.
I came into crypto by serendipity not through code, but through connection. For me, building on Base is about collaboration, innovation, and that rising tide that lifts all boats. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to build when you’re not a developer and realizing that in Web3, contribution takes many forms: strategy, education, support, and trust.
Meeting Vesper and Crypto Mouse felt like a spark. What stood out wasn’t just what they were building, it was how they showed up: with consistency, transparency, and quiet integrity. In a semi-anon space where names blur and titles fade, those values spoke volumes. That’s what pulled me in.
My roots are in biology and education. I fell in love with biology diving in Fiji before university, and I’ve been teaching ever since from karate and climbing to classroom science. Teaching, for me, has always been about curiosity, humility, and learning alongside others. That mindset translates naturally into Web3, where experimentation and growth are part of the culture.
I’m not a dev, but I help shape how projects come to life, connect with people, and evolve. My focus is clarity, momentum, and helping good ideas resonate.
What I bring to the table:
• Cross-Ecosystem Collaboration: Hosting Spaces and connecting Whirl with other DeFi projects on Base to spark co-creation.
• Information Flow: Translating complex ideas into clear, accessible content explainers, docs, Q&A, onboarding flows.
• Creative Ideation: Brainstorming tokenomics, beta testing UIs, and refining UX with thoughtful, real-user feedback.
• Visual Communication: Using AI tools to craft imagery and narratives that add emotional depth to technical work.
• Community Insight: Listening closely, understanding onchain behavior, and turning that into smarter engagement design.
• Builder Culture: Championing curiosity, quick iteration, and shared wins that move the whole space forward.
Why I build:
Decentralized tech isn’t just infrastructure it’s an experience. I’m here to help projects not just work, but land. Because when things click, people feel it and that’s where real momentum begins.
