I completed my Major in Production Engineering and Minors in CSE at NIT-Trichy. I spend my time taking public datasets and formulate machine learning problems over it and solve it for fun. Being a part of the programming club of my college, I have worked on a fantasy cricket league app during my second year and managed the team during my third year. I contributed on designing the algorithm for simulation of the matches between two teams and some front-end work using ReactJS. Later, I started focusing on solving Machine Learning problems, where I started with building a recommender system for courses using collaborative filtering algorithm. I strongly believe that there is a lot of potential to solve real world problems having inter-disciplinary background. Few months ago, I participated in a ML hackathon hosted by Google in their Bangalore office. My team was able to secure 11th position among 100+ teams from both Bangalore and Hyderabad offices. We worked on query classification problem and was able to hit an accuracy of 80.1%, which gave my team a great boost in confidence. I now work with GE Healthcare for solving problems in medical imaging.
