I am Saibaba, Currently, I am a Blockchain Engineeer at Rubix Network assistant related to zero-knowledge Cryptography with a long-standing background in cryptography and mathematics.
Right from my bachelor’s and master’s in mathematics, I used to love Abstract Algebra and Number theory a lot, which led me to choose an elective course in cryptography as well as to do my M.Sc thesis in Elliptic curve cryptography. In this thesis, I have done a mathematical study on the elliptic curves over finite fields, ECDSA, ECDH key exchange, and Elgamal cryptosystem. This interest in cryptology has motivated me to pursue an M.Tech in Cryptology and Security from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, which is a premier research institute for cryptology in India. As part of my M.Tech course in cryptology and security, I have learned several symmetric and public key cryptographic algorithms, and their security notions such as IND-CPA, IND-CCA, digital signature schemes, commitment schemes, elliptic curve cryptography, and zero-knowledge proofs.
In the past, I worked as a blockchain developer to develop a layer 1 blockchain, conduct research, and put various cryptographic protocols into practice.
I have a strong knowledge of programming languages such as Rust, Solidity, and Golang.
I have participated in EthIndia 2022, It was a great learning experience for me. I am extremely passionate about participating in many more hackathons and learning to build great projects.
