I’ve spent most of my career around finance and startups, and I’ve always been interested in how financial systems actually work in practice. My background is a mix of traditional finance and building companies, which gives me a somewhat unusual perspective on web3: I tend to focus less on theory and more on whether something actually works in the real world.
Before working on Moodeng Credit, I built and exited a final-mile logistics startup in Thailand and was involved in a crypto startup that was later acquired. I’ve also worked in institutional finance, including portfolio management and financial research. That experience gave me a close look at how credit systems operate—and more importantly, who they leave out.
The problem that stuck with me is that billions of people cannot access credit simply because they lack formal income records or tax data. They may have stable cash flow and strong repayment behavior, but the infrastructure to measure that doesn’t exist.
That’s what led me to build Moodeng Credit, a wallet-to-wallet lending platform that uses small USDC microloans and on-chain repayment history to create a portable trust layer. Instead of relying on traditional credit scores or collateral, the system lets people build credibility through actual repayment behavior.
I’m particularly interested in building systems that start small and grow from real usage rather than theoretical models. Right now that means focusing on simple infrastructure: small loans, transparent repayment history, and tools that help people who are currently invisible to the financial system begin building credit.
Outside of work I’m interested in economic history, philosophy, and how technology reshapes institutions over time.
