Jenifer Maria Joseph

Hi, I’m Jenifer Maria Joseph, a Computer Science Engineering student at Govt. Model Engineering College, Kochi. I love building tech solutions that make life easier and more accessible for people.

One of my favourite projects is CleanAura, an application that helps women find clean and safe restrooms while also providing access to affordable menstrual products. It includes real-time ratings, a restroom locator, and even works offline—because hygiene and dignity should be a right, not a privilege.

Another exciting project I worked on is a Speech-to-Speech Video Translation system. Imagine watching a video in one language and seamlessly getting subtitles or even translated audio in another—while keeping the natural tone and sync intact. It’s an AI-driven tool designed to break language barriers and make content accessible worldwide.

I’ve also built a Sign-Language Detection system using computer vision and deep learning to help bridge communication gaps for the hearing-impaired and contributed to Skill Sage, a platform that connects students based on their skills, making it easier to collaborate on projects.

Beyond coding, I enjoy working in teams and bringing ideas to life. I’ve helped organise initiatives, and I’ve also participated in hackathons like the Hult Prize 2024, where my team won First Runner-Up for CarboRich, an afforestation and carbon credit trading initiative.

What drives me is the idea that technology can create real impact. Whether it’s a website, an AI tool, or a platform connecting people, I want to keep building things that truly make a difference.
