I excel in leadership, vision, and communication, which makes me a strong project leader even with my limited coding knowledge. I naturally guide my team and coordinate our efforts to stay aligned with our project goals, much like Steve Jobs. I'm also skilled at pitching ideas, effectively articulating my vision to gain buy-in from both my team and stakeholders, which is crucial in hackathons where presentation can be as important as technical execution. Although my coding skills are still at a beginner level, I’m resourceful and adaptable, capable of solving problems and learning new concepts as needed. This allows me to contribute valuable insights and direction to technical projects, even if I'm not the primary coder. For instance, in my current hackathon project focused on developing disaster relief software, my leadership and pitching skills are essential in defining our goals and ensuring progress. While technical execution can be a challenge, I effectively collaborate with team members who have stronger coding skills, bridging the gap between vision and implementation. As I continue to build my coding knowledge, I’ll be able to take on more hands-on roles, but my existing strengths in leadership and communication already set me apart as a capable and effective project leader.
