My strongest technical skills are Python and HTML/CSS, and I can handle designing decently too. I’m pretty good at generating ideas and thinking through every possible case when building logic. When it comes to non-technical skills, I have everything I need for a hackathon—whether it’s teamwork, problem-solving, or staying calm under pressure.
One of my favorite projects is our squad portfolio, which we’re still working on. I’m using the MERN stack for it, and my main role is handling logic building. I’m not sure if it aligns with the hackathon theme, but it’s been a great learning experience so far.
I’ve participated in three hackathons before, and while I haven’t won yet, I’ve gained a lot—especially when it comes to networking and learning from others. My usual way to approach hackathon problems is by reading relevant articles, discussing ideas with teammates, and considering people’s real-world problems.
I typically take on the strategist role but can adapt when needed. Brainstorming isn’t my favorite thing, but I power through it (coffee helps a lot!). I’m joining this hackathon to gain more experience, connect with new people, and learn as much as I can. My unique ideas will show up in my project once we’re in the zone.
