Having enrolled and self-educated myself in various Computer Science concepts and programming languages at an early age I have diverse experiences ranging from building simple applications to solving complex mathematical problems in the world of competitive programming to developing iOS apps to building and publishing Voice Apps on the Google Assistant and Alexa platforms and also breaking ground on UI design/UX and decentralization technologies, Artificial Intelligence-particularly some of its subfields-Deep learning, Machine learning, Machine Vision, and Natural Language Processing, are some fields I believe I would like to pursue research in the long term and apply these techniques in numerous fields both in my academic as well as professional life.
I have been involved in learning/implementing and developing many Deep leaning concepts and models for the past couple of years, having delved into running models on Edge/low power devices recently, and have implemented them in some of my projects for instance.
I have sparked a very keen interest in MACHINE LEARNING. I have tried to learn and implement everything that I can find online, taking multiple interesting courses online, CS229: MACHINE LEARNING by Dr.Andrew Ng, CS231n: Convolutional Neural Networks for Visual Recognition, Dr. Andrej Karpathy and MIT 6.S191: INTRODUCTION TO DEEP LEARNING and reading building neural nets, classifiers and GANs and projects such as building image classifiers, GANS, neural style transfer networks, prediction models, and one of my favorites is using RL techniques(Q-learning) to train ML MODELS to play ATARI GAMES! has left no doubt in my mind that ML more broadly DATA SCIENCE is something that I am deeply passionate about and would like to love to pursue in my future!
Cool things I've worked on:
-Built a data reconstruction pipeline for the NASA Space Apps Challenge
-Completed projects in Nine NASA Space Apps challenge categories
-Built a fully functional Semantic Search Engine
-Built a Social-E-commerce with fully integrated search, logging, visualization, and backend, and machine learning analytics.
-Build a predictive disaster alert system with an end-to-end system for post-disaster management for CALL FOR CODE 2018
-Bult a fully autonomous 1/18th scale race car driven by reinforcement learning and raced in a and global racing league, AWS Deepracer.
-Working on the University Rover Challenge http://urc.marssociety.org/home/ on the IDD and autonomous/sensor Fusion Team.
-I work on the Wireless Open-Access Research Project started founded in 2006 by Prof. Ashu Sabharwal at Rice University.
Other Interesting things about me :
-Member of the RL-Algo trading group @University of Wisconsin-Madison
-I'm an Intel AI scholar
-I'm an exoplanet hunter some days.
-I'm an Airbus Space and Defense developer
